Background
The U.S. Consulate General Monterrey is seeking proposals for Roof Maintenance and Repair Coating at a Parking Garage. The contract will be a firm fixed price contract, with no adjustment for any escalation in costs or prices of labor or materials. The construction completion time is 220 Days, commencing on 04/18/2022.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the application of a solvent-based elastomeric roof coating and roof related repairs on the existing 22,000 square foot NCC Staff Parking Garage Roof at the United States Consulate in Monterrey, Mexico. The work involves cleaning/pressure washing roof areas, performing minor repairs, applying primer coat, grey base coat with embedded fabric and white topcoat completion.

The project also includes submission requirements such as executed bonds and insurance certificate, crew identification information, list of subcontractors with evidence of insurance coverage, project schedule, Construction Accident Prevention Plan (CAPP), Material Manufacturers and Accessory Product Data Sheets. Quality control measures are specified including inspection and testing of services by the Consulate and OBO, storage of materials, temporary facilities provision for water, electrical, ladders, chutes, scaffolds, hoists and cranes. Safety measures include precautions to avoid excessive noise or vibration that would disturb Consulate’s operations and preparation for security clearances for personnel and vehicles.
