This notice is to advise that RFP N40027-24-R-1001 has been cancelled.

The purpose of Amendment 0001 to RFP N40027-24-R-1001 is to respond to questions from industry and provide clarifications. Amendment 0001 and Conformed RFP N40027-24-R-1001-0001 have been added to attachments.

This request for proposal opens rolling admission for the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award, Multiple Orders Contract (MAC-MO) for surface ship maintenance, repair, and modernization for surface combatant DDG class ships.

Offerors must demonstrate sufficient capabilities in accordance with the RFP. In addition, offerors must possess a Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA), or demonstrate organization and facilities equivalent to.

Background
This request for proposal opens rolling admission for the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award, Multiple Orders Contract (MAC-MO) for surface ship maintenance, repair, and modernization for surface combatant DDG class ships. The U.S. Navy must maintain and modernize its ships to meet current and future operational requirements. To that end, the U.S. Navy intends to utilize this supply contract for the repair, maintenance, and modernization requirements of non-nuclear US Navy surface ships homeported and visiting the Mayport, Florida homeport. Accordingly, the place of performance is the Mayport, Florida port where the Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) will administer the contract.

Work Details
The contract encompasses scheduled, continuous, and emergent maintenance, modernization, and repair requirements in categories such as Docking & Non-Docking Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) scheduled availabilities. The Contractor shall furnish the material, support (electrical, crane, rigging, etc.) and facilities necessary for the accomplishment of the work identified in each Delivery Order (DO). The Contractor shall provide all required facilities and supporting services and equipment in the Mayport, Florida homeport. The Contractor shall also provide an established management organization geared toward ship repair at all levels of size, value and complexity.
