The Regional Contracting Office in Quantico, VA is seeking a vendor to provide a roll-off trailer for the Marine Corps Base Recycling Program. This contract aims to support the recycling efforts of the Marine Corps by procuring a specialized trailer that meets specific operational requirements.

Work Details
The contract involves the delivery of 1 Roll-Off Trailer with the following salient characteristics:
- **Capacity and Weight**:
- Hoist Rating: Minimum 16,000 lbs capacity
- Trailer GVWR: Minimum 16,000 lbs
- Payload Capacity: Minimum 11,400 lbs
- Maximum Tare Weight: Not to exceed 5,000 lbs
- Container Compatibility: Must accommodate up to 20-yard open-top roll-off containers

- **Dimensions**:
- Overall Length: Maximum 20 feet 8 inches
- Overall Width: 98.5 inches

- **Chassis and Running Gear**:
- Frame & Rails: Heavy-duty steel structural tubing (equivalent to 6” x 3” x 1/4” wall)
- Axles: Tandem axles, minimum 8,000 lbs rating per axle
- Brakes: Electric brakes equipped on all axles
- Hubs: Accessible, easily greasable hub system (e.g., EZ Lube or equivalent)
- Tires: Minimum 16" wheels, Load Range G or higher rating
- Hitch Type: 2-5/16” Ball hitch
- Landing Gear: Hydraulic jack system

- **Hydraulics & Hoist System**:
- Power Unit / Motor: Gas-powered engine, 9 to 10 HP class (e.g., Kohler, Honda, or equivalent), frame-mounted
- Engine Protection: Fully enclosed shielding on front and sides to protect from weather and debris
- Hydraulic Controls: Wireless remote control operation required

- **Hardware & Accessories**:
- Rail Slides: Replaceable, high-durability, low-friction slides (e.g., UHMW plastic or equivalent)
- Tarping System: Automated/electric tarp system integrated with spring-loaded arms.
- Paint & Finish: Industrial anti-corrosion surface prep with heavy-duty topcoat.
