Background
The Pittsburgh District of the US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking to establish a Rockwell Automation TechConnect support services agreement. This contract aims to provide necessary technical support, software maintenance, and troubleshooting resources to ensure the reliability, security, and operational readiness of the organization's industrial automation control systems and Rockwell Automation hardware and software.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide comprehensive TechConnect support that includes two tiers of service: Self-Assist Support and Product Support. The services are essential for reducing operational risk, managing legacy equipment, and quickly resolving operating issues. The support will cover programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), drives, and associated Rockwell Automation software. Specific tasks include:

1. Self-Assist Support:
- Online Support Center: 24/7 access to a knowledgebase with over 100,000 technical notes, forums, and product lifecycle notifications.
- Digital Assist Library: Access to a cloud-hosted AR library with step-by-step work instructions for Allen-Bradley hardware maintenance.
- Software Maintenance I: Entitlement to electronic downloads for software updates and patches.
- Service Ticket Management: Ability to submit, track, and manage service tickets via an online portal.

2. Product Support:
- Real-Time Product Support: Telephone and live chat support available in 20 languages for standard products and programming software.
- Software Maintenance II: Provision of physical software update media and emergency software replacement services.

Period of Performance
The period of performance consists of a one (1) year Base Period, followed by two (2) optional one-year extensions at the discretion of the Contracting Officer.

Bidders must submit a capabilities statement limited to 30 pages that includes company name, UEI/CAGE number, address, point of contact with contact information, expression of interest in providing a quote for solicitation, and capability to perform.

Those awards include TechConnect support for Rockwell Automation equipment and software, including maintenance and support services for industrial automation systems, with periods spanning 12/23/24–12/27/25 and 12/28/25–12/27/28. The current requirement’s two-tier TechConnect model (Self-Assist and Product Support) and focus on Rockwell Automation hardware/software troubleshooting and maintenance suggest continuity with the previously awarded TechConnect support.
