Background
This solicitation is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the purchase, installation, and training of a Brain Surgery System along with annual software licenses for up to one year at the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC).
The goal of the contract is to enhance surgical capabilities through advanced robotic surgical equipment and compliant software solutions.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Purchase and installation of a Brain Surgery System.
2. Provision of training for medical staff on the use of the system.
3. Supply of annual software licenses that are compliant with VA Technical Reference Model (TRM) and Software as a Service (SAAS) standards.
4. Adherence to all technical and implementation requirements as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
5. Ensure that all responses to the Request for Quotation (RFQ) are complete and compliant; incomplete submissions will be deemed noncompliant.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of one year, starting from the date of award.
