Rhinelander Pest and Rodent Control   2

Background
The USDA, specifically the Northern Research Station (NRS), is seeking contractors to provide pest control services at their facilities located at 5985 Hwy K, Rhinelander, WI 54501 and 4398 Grace Ln, Harshaw, WI 54529.

The goal of this contract is to protect scientific research equipment and plants from pests that could cause significant financial losses. The contract aims to ensure a safe working environment for employees by controlling various pests including rodents, ants, flies, wasps, and roaches.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, services, skills, transportation, supervision, and necessary tools and equipment needed to perform a full range of pest control services. Key tasks include:
- Conducting an initial inspection of the facilities prior to service initiation.
- Performing routine maintenance which includes twelve monthly services and three seasonal sprays (Spring, Summer & Fall).
- Implementing rodent control measures including deploying bait stations and traps throughout the facility.
- Providing specialized pest management applications for various types of pesticides while adhering to safety regulations regarding chemical use in greenhouses.
- Maintaining a master logistic plan for all control devices with a corresponding monthly schedule and log tracking activity and replacements.
- Submitting a customized Rodent Control Report after each service detailing device activity.

Period of Performance
Base Year: August 17, 2025 to August 16, 2026; Option Year One: August 17, 2026 to August 16, 2027; Option Year Two: August 17, 2027 to August 16, 2028; Option Year Three: August 17, 2028 to August 16, 2029; Option Year Four: August 17, 2029 to August 16, 2030.
