Background
The National Museum of the Marine Corps (NMMC) is seeking fabrication and installation services for exhibits and exhibit components as part of their ongoing efforts to update and rotate artifacts in their galleries. The museum aims to maintain a high level of quality and durability in the completed exhibits, consistent with their established standards and ratings from independent museum rating organizations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for fabricating and installing exhibit mounts, case furniture, interpretive signage, graphic panels, associated support components, artifact handling and mounting, overall site coordination of all contractors associated with the project, de-installation of existing exhibits, and ensuring the maintenance or exceeding of the museum's quality standards. The contract includes specific tasks such as graphics production, fabrication of micro artifact mounts and case furniture, paint application, and sample submissions. The contractor must adhere to the detailed production steps for graphics and treat artifacts as precious items when fabricating mounts or case furniture.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is from September 01, 2023, to August 31, 2028.
