RFQ - Feb-Mar Catered Meals in support of DC Safe and Beautiful   4

Background
The District of Columbia National Guard (DCNG) is seeking a contractor to provide catered meals in support of the 'Make DC Safe and Beautiful' initiative. The goal of this contract is to ensure that approximately 3,000 service members receive high-quality, nutritious meals during scheduled training events, drills, and potential emergency operations within the National Capital Region (NCR). The contractor's services are essential for maintaining the readiness and morale of DCNG personnel.

Work Details
The contractor shall deliver complete catering services, which include meal planning, food preparation, delivery, setup, service, and breakdown/cleanup. All services must comply with applicable federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations. The contractor will provide all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control. Meals must be provided at multiple locations including the District of Columbia National Guard (DCNG) & Logistical Support Area (LSA) on Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB). Meal types include breakfast, lunch, dinner, midnight meals, boxed lunches/meals ready to eat (MRE), and special dietary accommodations as requested. Specific requirements for each meal type are as follows:

- **Breakfast**: Full American breakfast with options such as eggs (box meals), bacon, sausage, pancakes or waffles; includes coffee, tea, juice, toast and fruit. Minimum portion sizes specified.

- **Lunch**: Hot lunch with options like roast beef with gravy or baked chicken; includes side dishes and beverages. Minimum portion sizes specified.

- **Dinner**: Complete balanced dinner adhering to USDA Dietary Guidelines; served boxed with protein, starches, vegetables and beverages. Weekly menu must be available for government review.

All meals must include a designated vegetarian option of up to 2%. The contractor must provide documentation detailing meal quantities upon delivery.

Services will be performed at multiple locations including the District of Columbia National Guard facilities and Logistical Support Area on Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling.
