Background
The Lexington VA Medical Center, located at 2250 Leestown Rd, Lexington, KY 40511, is seeking to upgrade its current radio and video surveillance systems. This upgrade aims to enhance the security and surveillance capabilities across the Cooper and Leestown campuses. The contract includes a five-year service agreement for maintenance, supplies, repairs, and replacement of purchased equipment. The project is set aside for small businesses only.

Work Details
The contract involves the procurement and installation of Avtec Console and Motorola Radio equipment for campus police. Specific requirements include:
- Replacement and installation of multiple radios, receivers, and repeaters throughout the Lexington VA Medical Center, including the Sousley and Bowling campuses.
- Installation of a Capacity Plus (Multi-Site) trunked radio system with Avtec Consoles.
- Equipment includes 60 MOTOTRBO Ion portables, 6 XPR 5550e mobiles, and 8 new SLR 5700 repeaters.
- A two-position Avtec system will be installed in the VA PD dispatch to monitor and broadcast on the digital radio system.
- Integration with an Avigilon video system is required.
- The service agreement covers maintenance and support for both Avtec Console and Motorola Radio equipment over a base year plus four option years.

Period of Performance
Base period begins on July 8, 2025, and ends on July 7, 2026. Option years extend from July 8 of each subsequent year through July 7 of the following year up to four additional years.
