Background
The U.S. Embassy in Lima, Peru, requires construction services for the restoration of outdoor pathways and exterior walking surfaces within the Chief of Mission Residence (CMR) compound. The goal of this contract is to restore safe pedestrian circulation and preserve the aesthetic character of the compound by demolishing and replacing deteriorated pathways and surfaces.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish and install all materials required for the restoration of concrete pathways at the Chief of Mission Residence as outlined in Attachment 1 – Statement of Work. This includes demolition of existing pathways, installation of new concrete surfaces, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining aesthetic integrity throughout the project. The contractor must adhere to specifications regarding materials, workmanship, and project timelines as detailed in the Statement of Work.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet several requirements including: being technically qualified and financially responsible; having an established business with a permanent address in Peru; demonstrating prior construction experience in similar works with verifiable references; possessing necessary personnel, equipment, and financial resources; holding all required licenses and permits to operate in Peru; and meeting local insurance requirements. Additionally, bidders must furnish performance and payment bonds within 10 calendar days after award.
