The Procurement Office of Ames National Laboratory (referred to herein as the Laboratory ) is seeking, through this Request for Proposal (RFP), to acquire General Construction Services as more fully described in Appendix B Specifications and Drawings dated 09/26/2024 Rev. 0 for the Ames Infrastructure Modernization Project, in support of Ames National Laboratory located in Ames, Iowa. https://www.ameslab.gov/about-ames-laboratory.

The Laboratory intends to award one subcontract(s) resulting from this solicitation to that offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Laboratory, the best value, price and other factors as specified, considered. Therefore, your firm is invited to submit a proposal for these requirements. Please ee attached documents for all the details for this opportunity.

Background
The Ames National Laboratory, managed by Iowa State University of Science & Technology for the Department of Energy, is seeking proposals for General Construction Services to support the Ames Infrastructure Modernization Project.

The goal is to enhance the Laboratory's infrastructure in Ames, Iowa, through a competitive solicitation process aimed at obtaining the best value for the Laboratory.

Work Details
The contract will encompass a range of general construction services as detailed in Appendix B – Specifications and Drawings dated 09/26/2024.

The work will include commercial and institutional building construction tasks. Offerors are encouraged to utilize small businesses and various classifications of minority businesses as subcontractors to ensure broad participation.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Ames National Laboratory located in Ames, Iowa.
