Description

23 August 2018 N00024-18-R-2227 amendment includes updates to the SF33 and the proposal due date is 7 Sept 2018.
Background
The solicitation is for the design and construction of Expeditionary Fast Transport (EPF) 13 and 14. The EPF ships are crewed, operated, and maintained by civilian mariners under the command of the Military Sealift Command (MSC). The vessels shall use similar or equal Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems currently in MSC’s inventory to minimize training, operation, and sustainment costs. The EPF 13 and 14 shall be built to meet 2018 ABS High-Speed Naval Craft (HSNC) rules.
