RFID Inventory System - updated submission date with Q&A   3

Background
The National Museum of the Marine Corps (NMMC) is seeking to acquire a standalone, self-contained radio-frequency identification (RFID) tagging, reader, and inventory system to maintain accountability for over 3,500 firearms in its Small Arms/Light Weapons collection.

This solicitation is issued by the MCI-NCR Regional Contracting Office with the intent to award a firm-fixed price contract on an 'all-or-none' basis. The contract is set aside for small business concerns only.

Work Details
The required RFID Inventory System must include:
- A laptop or tablet equipped with a CAC reader, running Windows OS, compatible with Windows 11 OS, with specifications of 1TB storage, 2.5-4.0GHz processor speed, and 16GB RAM.
- The system must not require recurring subscriptions or third-party data storage; all data must be stored on-site with NMMC retaining full ownership.
- Capability to track firearm movements and send alerts if unauthorized movements occur.
- Up to ten (10) NMMC users allowed.
- At least one handheld RFID reader/scanner with a minimum scanning range of eight (8) feet.
- 4,000 RFID tags that are tamper-resistant and inconspicuous, not exceeding 2 inches in diameter.
- Two RFID sensor systems for the vault entrance and museum loading dock.
- Installation of necessary hardware at both locations and provision of technical support within 24 hours.
- A minimum one-year warranty on software and hardware.

Period of Performance
Delivery is required no later than 60 days after the date of contract award.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to Building 2121 Rowell Road, Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA 22134 and the National Museum of the Marine Corps, 1775 Semper Fidelis Way, Triangle, VA 22172.
