THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. This publication constitutes a Request for Information (RFI) as defined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e), RFIs may be used when the Government does not presently intend to award a contract, but wants to obtain price, delivery, other market information, or capabilities for planning purposes. Responses to these notices are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Furthermore, the Program Office is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals.

The United States Space Force is seeking information on technical concepts and approaches to rapidly integrate government payloads onto a mature space vehicle with minimal NRE/modifications required. Two separate space vehicle variants are included in this RFI to address the needs of two separate missions.

Background
The United States Space Force is seeking information on technical concepts and approaches to rapidly integrate government payloads onto a mature space vehicle with minimal NRE/modifications required. Two separate space vehicle variants are included in this RFI to address the needs of two separate missions.

Work Details
The RFI requests clearly delineated responses to one or both variants described in Table 1 to satisfy the USSF’s need. The RFI also seeks information about schedule, cost, and other market information or capabilities for possible use in a future acquisition.

Period of Performance
The end goal is a launch by FY27. The envisioned development and delivery of a fully integrated space vehicle (with an end goal of launching by FY27) in 18-24 months following an Authority to Proceed (ATP).

Place of Performance
Geostationary altitude ±300 km and inclination of 0 deg ±5 deg.
