Description

The Naval Research Lab (NRL) in Washington, DC has a requirement for the procurement and installation of two (2) Air Storage Tanks with associated piping to be installed within an existing air storage and supply system.

Attachment 1 is provided to indicate the planned layout of the two (2) new air tanks within the overall system which includes one air tank already in inventory. The Quoter shall provide products that meet or exceeds the specification requirements. Quotes shall be detailed enough to allow for a technical evaluation to validate that ALL the requirements have been met by the proposed product(s).
Perform all design, fabrication and installation work for the required air storage tanks and associated piping.
Provide all supporting structures required for the required air storage tanks. The supporting structures shall not be attached to any of the compressor system components shown in the attachment.
Individual air tank storage capacity of at least 1,000kg total of air.
The air supply system shall be comprised of two steel air storage tanks with a combined volume of at least 380 cubic feet.
All air supply system tanks, pipes, tees, adapters, valves, and flanges shall have a rated capacity of at least 600 psig.
Air supply port plates of 8-12in diameter. Minimum 2 port plates per tank.
The maximum height of the air supply tanks shall be no more than 120 inches.
Maximum operating temperature of at least 60°C.
The Quoter shall provide all of the pipes, tees, adapters, valves, flanges, gaskets, and hardware required between the compressor system, the air storage tanks, and to the common manifold.
All air supply system pipes, tees, adapters, valve bodies, flanges, and fasteners shall be fabricated from steel.

Earliest date of 90 days after award, no later than 180 days after award
