RFI - SAFE Platform

Background
The Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking to enhance its reporting capabilities and data entry processes through the development of a new Security Automated Features Enhancement (SAFE) platform. The existing system, operational since 2010, has served the agency's needs but has significant limitations in expansion and lacks modern dynamic reporting features.

The new platform aims to improve the SSA's security data management and support various operations related to security posture management.

Work Details
The tasks under this contract include: transitioning to a new SAFE platform that aligns with the Division of Risk Management's requirements; enhancing the ability to evaluate nationwide security postures; automating processes related to security posture management; accommodating personal identity verification (PIV) card photo verification at entry points; implementing guard post timekeeping; facilitating incident and violence reporting; and providing training capabilities.

The oversight will be managed by the Office of Mission Support, specifically the Office of Facilities and Security Management, Division of Risk Management (DOMS/OFSM/DRM), with the platform hosted on the SSA network.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence on or before July 15, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Social Security Administration located at 6401 Security Blvd, Baltimore, MD 21235-0001.
