The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) in accordance with 15.201 (e) to conduct market research. The BOP is responsible for the custody and care of approximately 150,000 Federal offenders and is seeking detailed information about releasing electronic health records (EHR) for the Social Security Administration (SSA) Disability, Veteran’s Affairs, medical providers, patients, attorneys etc. The purpose of this RFI is to further refine the FBOP’s specifications for the potential solicitation/acquisition for such a service.

Work Details
The work involves releasing electronic health records (EHR) for various entities including SSA Disability, Veteran’s Affairs, medical providers, patients, and attorneys. Vendors are required to answer specific questions outlined in the Request for Information in detail, including describing actual hardware, any necessary software, any peripherals required, and any configuration required to support the solution.
