RFI OPTION - Selma Custodial Services   2

Background
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is seeking a custodial services contract for the Transportable Temporary House Unit (TTHU) site located at 661 Selfield Rd in Selma, Alabama. The goal of this contract is to maintain custodial and cleaning services for various areas on the site, including restrooms, offices, manufactured housing units (MHUs), and other appropriate locations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide custodial services at least five days per week, with a preference for daily service during normal site hours of operation from Monday to Friday (0700-1630hrs), excluding weekends and holidays. The specific tasks include:

Office Space:
- Sweeping of floors
- Emptying of all trash
- Wet mopping as needed
- Periodic strip waxing of floors
- Cleaning of windows
- Minor dusting

Bathrooms:
- Sweeping
- Wet mopping as needed
- Periodic strip waxing of floors
- Stocking of bathroom supplies
- Cleaning of windows/mirrors
- Disinfecting bathroom fixtures
- Emptying trash

Estimated Workload Data for Bathrooms/Office Space includes 15 bathrooms across various office spaces totaling 19,440 sq. ft. Additionally, cleaning services will be provided for MHUs as needed. All basic cleaning supplies and materials will be supplied by the contractor.

March 16, 2025 – March 15, 2026; March 16, 2026 – March 15, 2027; March 16, 2027 – March 15, 2028; March 15, 2028 – March 15, 2029; March 16, 2029 – March 15, 2030
