RFI- NIDCR Scientific Support Services

Background
The National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) is the Federal Government's principal agency for dental and craniofacial and related fields of research and training. NIDCR’s mission is to advance fundamental knowledge about dental, oral, and craniofacial (DOC) health and disease and translate these findings into prevention, early detection, and treatment strategies that improve overall health for all individuals and communities across the lifespan. The requirement is to provide scientific support services to assist the NIDCR in meeting its overall operational objectives. The Task Areas encompass providing scientific support services to research efforts involving human subjects, non-human subjects, and non-living subjects. The services contemplated range from management assistance; directly assisting in an experiment, laboratory, or a clinical setting; obtaining, compiling, or organizing data and writing reports; conducting or assisting in all publishing or other communications efforts related to the research.

Work Details
The purpose of this acquisition is to provide scientific support services to assist the NIDCR in meeting its overall operational objectives. The Task Areas encompass providing scientific support services to research efforts involving human subjects, non-human subjects and non-living subjects. The Contractor shall provide support services as described in the following three Task Areas: Support Services Related to Human Subjects, Support Services Related to Non-Human Subjects, Support Services Related to Non-Living Subjects – Human Materials.

Period of Performance
The services shall be furnished according to the individual BPA Calls issued during the contract period of performance.
