RFI- Interim Contractor Support or Commercial TRON solution.

Background
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Aerial Networks Division (AFLCMC/C3N), is seeking qualified vendors to provide materiel solutions and services for Interim Contractor Support and Sustainment of the Tactical Remote Operations Node (TRON) Program. The goal is to ensure effective support for TRON systems, which include both Transportable and Fixed communication nodes, as well as spare parts. Vendors are invited to propose alternate off-the-shelf solutions to meet operational requirements.

Work Details
The prospective TRON interim contractor support and sustainment contractor will be responsible for a range of tasks including:

1. Preventative Maintenance (inspections, servicing, replacements to prevent failures);
2. Corrective Maintenance (repairing/replacing failed components);
3. Software Updates/Patching;
4. Help Desk Support/Troubleshooting;
5. Training (Top-Off training after initial FIST training);
6. Spare Parts, Inventory, Item Management;
7. Supply Chain Risk Management;
8. Obsolescence Plan;
9. Configuration Management (maintaining records of system configurations);
10. Documentation (LCSP, PSS, LORA, DSOR, TO’s);
11. Reliability Analysis and Metrics (MTBF, MTTR).

Additionally, the contractor will create technical drawings capturing equipment configurations, update technical manuals and procedures for user operation and maintenance, provide supply support for sustainment operations, and implement system and information security updates.
