RFI - GARAGE ROLL-UP DOORS PROCUREMENT & INSTALLATION SVCs

Background
The Puget Sound VA Medical Center – American Lake Campus is seeking to procure and install garage roll-up doors as part of their maintenance efforts. The existing garage doors are overdue for service, with two requiring replacement due to bearing failure.

This request for information (RFI) aims to identify interested and capable businesses that can provide the necessary products and services.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1) Procure and install QTY2 new roll-style garage doors, specifically:
- Door 1: External opening - 8ft by 9.5ft, Make: PowerMaster, Model # H, Voltage – 120v, HP ½;
- Door 2: External opening – 10ft by 10ft, Make: Atlas Door Co., Model: AMO500-03-07-89, Voltage – 120v, HP ½.
2) Perform maintenance on an additional QTY4 garage doors by replacing rollers and broken springs. Specific tasks include:
- Remove and dispose of broken door in building 148;
- Install replacement door and motor in building 148;
- Perform function tests on replacement door assembly;
- Remove and dispose of broken door in building 21;
- Install replacement door and motor in building 21;
- Perform function tests on replacement door assembly.
