Description

SYNOPSIS - NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.203 in response to the mandatory requirement for a 15-day notification. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Naval Air Warfare Command Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) intends to issue a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) deliver order under Basic Ordering Agreement N0042123G0005 to Dayton T. Brown, Inc., 1175 Church Street, Bohemia, NY 11716, for retrofitting of the FB-2 Triton FOB hardware to the IFC-4 configuration.

Background
The Naval Air Warfare Command – Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) intends to issue a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) deliver order under Basic Ordering Agreement N0042123G0005 to Dayton T. Brown, Inc., for retrofitting of the FB-2 Triton FOB hardware to the IFC-4 configuration. The purpose of this sole source award is to fit supplied FOB IFC-4 hardware into FB-2 trailer racks, install these racks into the trailer currently in production under Contract N0042122C0045, perform required quality and acceptable activities, and update Mobile Forward Operating Base engineering documentation if required.
