Restroom Janitorial Services at the Quechee Gorge Visitor Center, Quechee, VT   3

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a solicitation for restroom janitorial services at the Quechee Gorge Visitor Center in Quechee, Vermont. The mission of the agency is to maintain and operate public facilities while ensuring cleanliness and safety for visitors.

The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive cleaning services for two public restrooms located within a two-story building, ensuring a hygienic environment for all visitors.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all equipment, materials, labor, and transportation necessary to clean two public restrooms at the Quechee Gorge Visitor Center. The total floor space to be cleaned is approximately 580 square feet.

Specific tasks include:
1. Daily restroom cleaning which involves scrubbing and disinfecting toilets, urinals, sinks, countertops, washing mirrors, and mopping floors.
2. Restocking paper tissue, soap, air freshener, and paper towels.
3. Emptying wastebaskets into larger trash bags and disposing of them in an onsite dumpster.
4. Replacing wastebasket liners and cleaning changing stations. Maintenance cleaning will also be performed weekly as specified in the performance work statement.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will commence upon contract award (on or about January 1, 2025) and will end on December 31, 2025. There are options for two additional years: Option Year One from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026; Option Year Two from January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2027.

The contract will be performed at the Quechee Gorge Visitor Center located at 5966 Woodstock Rd (Route 4), Quechee, Vermont 05059.
