Background
The solicitation is for a Fixed Price Construction Contract for design-bid-build (DBB) Restore Capacity Berth 6C at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME. The project aims to repair or upgrade electrical, mechanical and civil utilities and infrastructure at Berth 6, including electrical, communication, steam, condensate, water, sewer, compressed air services, industrial power service, equipment pads, sea level rise mitigation, and installation of mooring cleats and bollards.

Work Details
The work includes repairing or upgrading various utilities and infrastructure at Berth 6C such as electrical, communication, steam, condensate, water, sewer, compressed air services. It also involves restoring the industrial power service and installing equipment pads and sea level rise mitigation. Additionally, the project requires numerous penetrations through or below the portal crane rail foundations to route new ductbanks or piping. A raised utility trench/seawall will be installed along the length of the berth with mooring cleats and bollards installed on top. Rock anchors will be required to install the mooring hardware and civil site work/demo of granite blocks will be required to install the raised trench/seawall.

The construction projects will be performed at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, ME.
