Background
The contract is issued by the Office of Acquisitions (OA), Division of Extramural Activities (DEA) at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), which is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) under the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). The purpose of the contract is to provide preclinical development support for candidate products and drug development activities, primarily to support pre-clinical research, development of pediatric formulations, and advancement of next generation nBPs and MPTs. The contract will be used to accomplish the mission of NIAID programs.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide preclinical development support for candidate products and drug development activities. The scope of work encompasses activities that range from initial product discovery to those required to support clinical trials and/or product licensure. The contract will cover a Multiple Award Indefinite Quantity contract with a total reimbursement amount not less than $2,500 (minimum) nor more than $98,878,757 (maximum) for successful performance. The contract period is from July 15, 2023 through July 14, 2030. The work will be performed in response to Task Orders issued by NIAID.
