Residential Fencing at Dinosaur National Monument

Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the purpose of conducting fencing repair and installation at Dinosaur National Monument in Utah. The goal of this contract is to enhance the security and aesthetics of the residential areas within the park by repairing and installing fencing as specified in the Scope of Work.

Work Details
The project involves various tasks related to fencing repair and installation, including:
- Removal and installation of fencing at Quarters 4-4, approximately 180 linear feet, with no gate.
- Repair, preparation, and staining of fencing at Quarters 4-5, also approximately 180 linear feet.
- Similar repair, preparation, and staining work at Quarters 4-6, approximately 200 linear feet.
- Installation of privacy wood fencing and a 4-foot wide chain link gate with latch at Quarters 4-7, also approximately 200 linear feet.

The work must comply with the attached Scope of Work.

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance is from August 1, 2026, to October 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
Dinosaur National Monument, Utah.

Bidder Requirements
This solicitation is set aside for Total Small Business Concerns. Bidders must provide bid/payment/performance bonds as required for construction contracts. Additionally, contractors must possess the necessary licenses to perform the work outlined in the solicitation.

The prior/related award 140P1423D0007 was awarded to MC2 Engineering And Construction for $898,626 (07/11/23–08/14/26) and involved repairing, replacing, and installing multiple fencing types in residential or administrative areas, including post-and-rail and screening/privacy fencing with materials/styles matched to historic conditions. The current Dinosaur National Monument requirement for residential fencing repair and installation (removal/replacement, preparation/staining, and installation of privacy wood fencing and a chain link gate) appears to be a continuation of the same general fence repair/installation scope within park residential settings.
