Residential and Home Confinement Services located in the Wichita, Kansas area within one of the following counties: Butler, Cowley, Harper, Harvey, Kingman, Reno, Sumner, and Sedgwick

The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing residential reentry center (RRC) services (in-house RRC beds) and home confinement services (home confinement placements) for male and female federal offenders. The upcoming solicitation for the above services is to be located in the Wichita, Kansas area within one of the following counties: Butler, Cowley, Harper, Harvey, Kingman, Reno, Sumner, and Sedgwick (Home Confinement services within a 200 mile radius of the RRC) for male and female offenders held under the authority of United States statutes.
Both the RRC services for in-house RRC and home confinement services shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work entitled, "Residential Reentry Center " dated May 2016 (See Attached).

The requirement for RRC and Home Confinement services for male and female Federal offenders located in the Wichita, Kansas area within one of the following counties: Butler, Cowley, Harper, Harvey, Kingman, Reno, Sumner, and Sedgwick, will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract for services with a one year base period, and four one-year option periods. The RRC In-House requirement will consist of a 70 bed facility (60 designated male/10 designated female) for a one year base period, and four one-year option periods. The Home Confinement requirement will consist of 35 placements for a one year base period, and four one-year option periods for both male and female.

It is the intent of the Government to award all types of services for (RRC in-house beds and home confinement placements) to a single provider, as these services are interconnected and rely upon each other to ensure adequate programming and case management of offenders. The Government reserves the right to potentially make an award which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Government. RFP-200-1345-CS will be available on or about November 7, 2016, and it will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at http://www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition will also be distributed solely through this site.
