Background
The U.S. Consulate General Cape Town, South Africa, is seeking quotations for Preventive Maintenance Services for the Consular Interview Audio System under Solicitation No. 19SF2026Q0018.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and reliability of the audio system used during consular interviews, which is critical to the mission of providing services to U.S. citizens and foreign nationals.

Work Details
The contractor will provide preventive maintenance, technical support, and on-demand service for the Consular Audio Interview System. This includes:
1) Two bi-annual routine maintenance inspections where all components are tested, cleaned, and checked;
2) Live customer support via phone or video conference during specified hours;
3) On-demand service calls scheduled within one business day for unforeseen malfunctions;
4) Routine maintenance inspections that include testing and inspecting head-end equipment and components at teller windows;
5) A written report detailing system condition after each inspection;
6) Warranty of workmanship and equipment for twelve months;
7) Compliance with health and safety requirements as per U.S. Consulate standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a base year with four option years, totaling five years if all options are exercised.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of ten years of recent experience in audio-visual system maintenance and installation. They must demonstrate technical capability in maintaining systems like Crestron, QSC/Q-SYS, JBL, and associated components. Offerors must provide evidence of Defense Base Act (DBA) insurance coverage prior to performance commencement.
