Background
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking to maintain and enhance its Search and Rescue Optimal Planning System (SAROPS) through the Environmental Data Services (EDS) Subscription Services.
C5ISC is responsible for providing Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber, and Intelligence support worldwide for the USCG.
The SAROPS system assists in planning search and rescue operations by utilizing data from various sources to optimize search object drift simulations.

Work Details
The contract involves maintaining current subscription services for environmental data services which include:
- Data source catalog
- Data format transformation
- Status reporting
- Web services
- Archiving.
Additionally, the contractor will develop future enhancements for the SAROPS system.
The EDS provides web services technology to obtain current wind and current data necessary for running drift simulations. The contractor's data products are commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) subscription commodities accessed by SAROPS clients via vendor servers.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in a LAN/WAN environment supporting the U.S. Coast Guard.
