Request for Quote for Telesitter Patient Monitoring System   2

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VHA) is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) for the installation and configuration of an intelligent video monitoring (telesitter) system at the Atlanta VA Medical Center and the Trinka Davis Veterans Village.

This initiative is part of VHA's patient safety efforts aimed at reducing patient falls through advanced monitoring technology. The system will allow for continuous remote monitoring of patients, enhancing safety and reducing reliance on physical sitters.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide, install, and configure an intelligent video monitoring and fall prevention system in patient rooms throughout the Atlanta VAMC and Trinka Davis Veterans Village.

Key tasks include:
1. Installation of a system capable of monitoring up to 40 patients per device, utilizing video cameras and motion detection software to predict potential falls.
2. Coordination with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for installation scheduling based on bed availability.
3. Provision of all necessary equipment, including 192 cameras, 179 camera systems for patient rooms, 13 mobile carts, a virtual server (VM), and required nursing monitoring stations.
4. Installation must include new Cat6A cabling or better, ensuring compliance with VA network standards.
5. All equipment must be new and fully functional prior to acceptance by AVAHCS.
6. The contractor is responsible for any damage to VA property during installation.

Period of Performance
Base period from December 1, 2025, to November 30, 2026; followed by four option years from December 1, 2026, to November 30, 2030.
