Background
The U.S. Department of State is seeking to procure and install one (1) 11 KVA transformer to support power management and supply operations at a U.S. Embassy/Chancery facility. The goal of the contract is to ensure that the transformer meets applicable electrical safety and performance standards suitable for the host country's power infrastructure.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to supply and install an 11 KVA transformer, including all associated connections, mounting hardware, and testing to ensure full operational functionality upon completion. The scope of work includes preventive maintenance services for the facility’s 11,000-415 voltage transformers. Key tasks include:

1. Performing preventive maintenance to eliminate system malfunction and breakdown.
2. Providing emergency assistance for transformer support within 24 hours of being contacted by the COR.
3. Ensuring all personnel use appropriate safety protection while work is performed.
4. Maintaining systems and components such as bushings, insulating fluid (oil-filled), switches, protective devices, and gauges.
5. Conducting a detailed inspection of connections and components for signs of overheating or damage.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must attend a site visit prior to submission of an offer or proposal; failure to do so may result in elimination from consideration. Proposals must be submitted electronically in specific formats (MS-Word 2007/2010, MS-Excel 2007/2010, or PDF) with a file size not exceeding 30MB. Additionally, contractors are required to provide a technical proposal and a cost proposal as per the pricing table.
