Background
The Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking a contractor to provide on-site destruction services for security waste, including administrative papers, classified papers, sensitive documents, white and mixed recycled paper, and Braille documents.

This service will be conducted at SSA Field and Hearing offices located in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. The goal of this contract is to ensure the secure destruction of sensitive materials in compliance with federal regulations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, equipment, supplies, secured vehicles, materials, supervision, and other related services necessary for on-site document destruction services for security waste. Specific tasks include:
- Collection of purge paper waste in banker boxes or similar containers supplied by SSA.
- Scheduled pickups of security waste bins between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding federal holidays).
- Ensuring that all security waste is directly taken to the contractor’s vehicle and destroyed in a manner that prevents reassembly.
- Providing a witnessed Certificate of Destruction upon completion of service which must specify the method of destruction and identify the employees involved.
- Compliance with SSA's rules and regulations while on government premises including identification requirements for contractor personnel.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate experience with secure document destruction services. They are required to have personnel who can obtain security clearances. Additionally, bidders must provide references from similar projects completed within the last three years.
