Background: This is a Request for Qualifications for an Architect-Engineer IDIQ for the USDA ARS Pacific West Area. The USDA ARS (Agricultural Research Service) is issuing this contract to obtain professional Architectural-Engineering (A-E) services for individual projects. The A-E services will be obtained through the issuance of fixed price task orders. The Statement of Work for A-E Services provides detailed information on the A-E's responsibilities and the standard requirements for document submissions. The Project Requirements Document is developed specifically for each project and provides detailed information on the specific services requested, schedule, budget, unique project needs, and distribution list for submissions.

Details: The work to be completed under this contract includes various tasks and services related to architectural-engineering services. These tasks include compliance with codes and standards, web portal project management system, project site visits, document requirements, cost estimates, designs, design analysis, design criteria development, design reviews, energy modeling and computer simulation, environmental assessments and impact statements, facility commissioning, feasibility studies, hazardous materials and substances abatement services, investigative reports or studies, master planning, program of requirements development, and more.
