Request for Proposal (RFP)- Embassy Janitorial Services Contract

Background
The U.S. Embassy in Lilongwe, Malawi, is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide janitorial services at various locations including the U.S. Embassy Compound, NICO House, Public Diplomacy, and Embassy Warehouse in Area 4.

The goal of this contract is to ensure a clean and well-maintained environment for embassy operations.

Work Details
The contractor will perform janitorial services including but not limited to:
- Sweeping and damp mopping all floor areas;
- Dusting and cleaning all furniture;
- Vacuuming rugs and carpets;
- Thorough cleaning of toilets and bathrooms;
- Emptying wastepaper baskets;
- Providing temporary additional services as required.

The contractor must furnish all necessary personnel, materials, equipment, and services. All employees must be full-time regular employees of the contractor. The contractor is responsible for maintaining appropriate staffing levels throughout the contract duration to meet all deadlines and deliverables. Security requirements must be emphasized in general instructions provided by the contractor.

Period of Performance
The performance period for this contract will commence from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed issued by the Contracting Officer and will last for 13 months, with options for renewal.

U.S. Embassy Compound, NICO House, Public Diplomacy, and Embassy Warehouse in Area 4, Lilongwe MW-LI MALAWI.
