Background
The Program Executive Office Soldier (PEOS), specifically the Project Manager Soldier Medical Devices (PM SMD), is responsible for providing Medical Materiel Support to all Army components to ensure optimal healthcare and worldwide medical readiness.

This contract aims to facilitate the procurement, assembly, distribution, and management of medical equipment and materiel sets, as well as provide technical assistance for sustainment operations. The PEOS delivers a wide range of products including body armor, medical devices, and other essential military capabilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Materiel Fielding and Medical Liaison Support Services across various divisions within PM SMD at Fort Detrick. Key tasks include:
1. **Program Management**: Overseeing contractor task management, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, and managing subcontractors.
2. **Management Analysis Support Services**: Conducting life-cycle management reviews, impact assessments, and providing administrative support for policy development.
3. **Logistics Analysis**: Supporting fielding missions by planning data reports, executing fielding operations in compliance with regulations, and maintaining knowledge of Army Automation Systems.
4. **Medical Liaison Support Services**: Collaborating with PM SMD and stakeholders to support medical material readiness.
5. **Transportation Coordination**: Managing logistics related to the transportation of medical materiel.
6. **Fielding Surge Support Services**: Assisting in the staging, inventory, and hand-off of materiel to units while ensuring proper documentation is maintained throughout the process.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance will be Fort Detrick, MD, with additional contractor site locations as outlined in the solicitation.
