Request for Infromation (RFI) - U. S. COAST GUARD POLAR SECURITY CUTTER (PSC) PROJECT RESIDENT OFFICE PASCAGOULA (PROPGLA) TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICES

Background
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Project Resident Office Pascagoula (PROPGLA) is responsible for overseeing the production and delivery of the Polar Security Cutters (PSC), which are highly capable heavy icebreakers.

The PSC program is dynamic and requires innovative solutions to ensure effective and optimal systems for the fleet while adhering to cost, schedule, and performance parameters. The goal of this contract is to obtain contractor support services that include acquisition, logistics, configuration management, quality assurance, technical program management, government property management, test plan management, data management, and related technical support.

Work Details
Contractor personnel will provide on-site and surge support at PROPGLA facilities in Pascagoula, MS. Tasks include:

- Oversight of ship construction;
- Management of government-furnished equipment and materials;
- Support for testing and validation;
- Assistance with project and logistics management throughout the PSC production cycle;
- Quality assurance support including surveillance of shipbuilder production efforts;
- Combat systems technical support;
- Project management support involving oversight of production schedules;
- Test plan management support to ensure all systems are operable before delivery;
- Compliance with security requirements for handling classified information.

Personnel must be able to work in both office and industrial environments and meet applicable security clearance requirements.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is twelve (12) months from the date of award with four (4) one-year option periods.

Place of Performance
The primary place of performance will be at facilities provided by USCG PROPGLA at Bollinger Mississippi Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, MS. Services may also be performed at other local locations as approved.
