Background
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Armament Directorate, Disruptive Futures Division (AFLCMC/EBZ) is conducting market research for a Stand-off Attack Weapon (SoAW) Analysis of Alternatives (AoA). The purpose is to better characterize the technological, manufacturing, and business capabilities of the industrial base to develop and produce a material solution to address this operational objective. This information will inform trade space analysis of weapon systems that can potentially meet SoAW requirements.

Work Details
AFLCMC/EBZ requests white papers on notional armament capabilities from the industrial base to address the capability gaps defined in the classified Operational Gaps section. The requested information includes characterization of notional weapon concepts, technical attributes for proposed weapon concepts, work done under Contract Research and Development (CRAD) and Independent Research and Development (IRAD), inclusion of Weapons Government Reference Architecture (GRA), Weapon Open Systems Architecture (WOSA), Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and data rights in the offeror’s development approach. Additionally, it seeks information on the development activities needed to rapidly prototype, integrate, and initially field the proposed weapon concept(s), as well as notional contractor Average Unit Production Price for the weapon concept. Interested parties are requested to respond with a white paper including images in Microsoft Word format. Responses are due by 28 Oct 2022.

Place of Performance
The geographic location for Industry Day is planned at the Doolittle Institute, 1140 E John Sims Pkwy #1, Niceville, FL 32578.
