HRSA anticipates releasing a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) in the coming months for the next SRTR contract. This RFI seeks input from Industry and stakeholders to inform the development of the RFP and to assess interest and capabilities within the market.

Background
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), part of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gather industry input for the upcoming Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients (SRTR) contract. This initiative is part of HRSA's mission to improve the effectiveness of organ procurement, distribution, and transplantation systems in the United States, as established by the National Organ Transplant Act (NOTA).

The SRTR supports ongoing evaluation of the scientific and clinical status of solid organ transplantation.

Work Details
The RFI seeks to gather feedback on enhancing components of the SRTR contract, focusing on operational efficiency, data accessibility, and transparency in organ procurement processes. Key objectives include:
1) Increasing operational efficiency in SRTR support;
2) Identifying and reducing duplicative functions among HRSA, SRTR, and other OPTN entities;
3) Maintaining and enhancing accessibility and utility of SRTR data files;
4) Leveraging the SRTR database for improved transparency and accountability.

Additionally, HRSA is soliciting insights on metrics for success, data utilization strategies, and user-specific data tool designs.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations as determined by the requirements of the SRTR contract.
