Description

This RFI is for the Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) Modernization office. The TACP-M office is currently interested in software to configure the network and radio devices of the Deployable Communications Package (DCP) used by the Air Support Operations Center (ASOC). ASOC TACPs are aligned with a conventional Army forces to provide precision terminal attack guidance of U.S. and coalition CAS aircraft, artillery, and naval gun fire; establish and maintain C2 communications; and advise ground commanders on the best use of air power. Questions regarding the RFI should be submitted no later then 18 April 2023, 3:00pm EDT.

Background
This RFI is for the Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) Modernization office. The TACP-M office is currently interested in software to configure the network and radio devices of the Deployable Communications Package (DCP) used by the Air Support Operations Center (ASOC). ASOC TACPs are aligned with a conventional Army forces to provide precision terminal attack guidance of U.S. and coalition CAS aircraft, artillery, and naval gun fire; establish and maintain C2 communications; and advise ground commanders on the best use of air power.

Work Details
The TACP program office is seeking a vendor agnostic networking configuration software product with the potential to improve the performance of ASOC/TOC objectives. The ASOC/TOC DCP consists of various components such as Zeus Kit, AN/PRC-117G Radios, AN/PRC-160 Radios, and AN/PRC-167 Radios. The software should be able to configure these components quickly and efficiently, enable communication between them, and update as the system grows and changes. Additionally, all proposed inputs/guidance must currently meet or have a notional plan to meet existing and applicable National Security Agency (NSA), Air Force, and Department of Defense (DoD) mandates for security.
