REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR BASE OPERATIONS SUPPORT (BOS) SERVICES, JOINT REGION MARIANAS (JRM), GUAM. This is a Request for Information (RFI) announcement only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a bid package or solicitation because there is no bid package or solicitation available. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Pacific, Services Contracts Division, is seeking information on establishing a bridge contract (up to 10 months) for Base Operations Support (BOS) services for Joint Region Marianas (JRM), Guam. Guam, the largest and southernmost island of the Marianas archipelago, is the westernmost possession of the United States. The island is approximately 3,700 miles west-southwest of Honolulu. Guam is proximately 30 miles in length with a variable width, ranging from 12 miles to four miles at its narrowest point. Guam is presently an Unincorporated Territory of the United States. Since July 1950, Guam was granted the right of civilian rule through the Organic Act of Guam. Guam, in comparison to most Pacific Islands, is one of the most progressive and advanced communities in this part of the world. The present population is a rich blend of many races, which makes Guam a cosmopolitan community with various customs and traditions. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561210. The applicable size standard is $38.5 million. The proposed BOS contract will include the following requirements/Annexes: 0100000 General Information, 0200000 Management and Administration, 0600000 Port Operations, 0700000 Ordnance, 1000000 Material Management, 1501000 Facility Management, 1502000 Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (SRM), 1502A000 SRM Andersen Air Force Base (AAFB), 1602000 Electrical, 1605000 Wastewater, 1606000 Steam, Hot Water, Demineralized Water, 1607000 Potable Water, 1700000 Base Support Vehicles and Equipment, and 1800000 Environmental Services. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this RFI. However, NAVFAC Pacific will utilize the information for acquisition planning purposes. All data received in response to this RFI Notice marked or designated, as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from release outside the Government.
