Request for Information (RFI): Innovative Indoor Environmental Health, Facility Sustainment, and Living Condition Solutions for Department of War (DoW) Installations

Background
The Department of War (DoW) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to identify innovative, scalable, and cost-effective approaches to rapidly improve indoor environmental conditions across DoW facilities within the Southeast Region of the United States.

The DoW aims to enhance air quality and indoor environmental health in military barracks, addressing issues such as ventilation deficiencies, airborne contaminants, and humidity-related conditions. The initiative is part of a broader effort to ensure healthy living environments for service members, recognizing that well-maintained housing is essential for their operational readiness and quality of life.

Work Details
The RFI seeks input on solutions that can:
1. Diagnose environmental conditions affecting indoor air quality.
2. Remediate deficiencies related to poor air quality, excess humidity, mold growth risks, ventilation deficiencies, aging HVAC systems, building envelope failures, water intrusion issues, and insufficient environmental monitoring capabilities.
3. Certify improvements to health standards and sustain those standards over time.

Solutions should include technologies such as environmental monitoring systems, air purification solutions, HVAC modernization approaches, humidity control systems, moisture detection technologies, and digital twin platforms. Service-based capabilities like facility assessments and continuous monitoring services are also encouraged. The DoW is interested in flexible acquisition models that enable rapid deployment at scale.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed across DoW facilities located in the Southeast Region of the United States.
