Opportunity 1: CMS Enterprise Monitoring and Management (EMM) Tool Development

CMS is seeking services to address the need for continued development of the CMS Enterprise Monitoring and Management (EMM) tool. The purpose of this tool is to enhance the current visibility of CMS enterprise hosting and application performance and operational challenges. The tool will align with the adoption and operations of Application Centric operations & support model and better meet the growing demand of CMS' complex multi-dimensional IT application and hosting landscape.

The Office of Information Technology (OIT), Infrastructure and User Services Group (IUSG) is responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and expanding CMS' Enterprise Infrastructure/Hosting solutions and end-user platforms. The EMM tool is a cloud-based data services platform built on the Reltio platform that provides a single pane of glass of Enterprise Operations Management for CMS. The platform includes data visualization capability that captures and graphically renders operational status of CMS' application and hosting assets.

This Request for Information (RFI) invites industry to submit information, comments, capabilities, and recommendations for the CMS enterprise monitoring and management tool. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the agency's method of future procurement of such support and services. There is no solicitation/request for quote or proposal/fair opportunity notice at this time.

Opportunity 2: Commercial Best Practices for Enterprise Monitoring

Purchase Agency: Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)

CMS is seeking information on commercial best practices and recommendations from public sector enterprise monitoring. They are interested in understanding any experience that potential vendors have in developing applications to assist with monitoring federal/large organizations.

The purpose of this request is to gather information on innovative solutions and strategies implemented by vendors to assist agencies or large organizations with enterprise monitoring and ensuring the continued health of their systems.

Interested parties are requested to provide their familiarity with Reltio, experience with application development related to building a tool to monitor organizational health, and any clarifying questions or additional information they may need.

CMS requests that respondents limit their responses to no more than 10 pages total.
