The purpose of this request for information is to obtain technical and/or business information and input from the marketplace for project planning purposes regarding the availability of existing or potential solutions, pursuant to FAR Part 10 Market Research, to identify potential parties from the marketplace capable of providing API Enterprise Management Solutions.

The FDA employs approximately 27,000 federal and contractor staff dedicated to protecting public health by ensuring the safety, efficacy, and security of various products including drugs, biological products, medical devices, food supplies, cosmetics, and tobacco products.

The agency is tasked with advancing public health through innovation while managing a vast amount of data across over 1,300 systems. The FDA's current disjointed API licensing approach has prompted the need for a unified API management platform to streamline operations and improve efficiency in meeting regulatory and scientific missions.

Work Details
The contract involves the following objectives:
1. Vendor Identification: Identify vendors that provide comprehensive API management solutions including licensing, support, and documentation.
