Description

Our requested requirement is to acquire engineering services designed to investigate and resolve Deficiency Reports (DR) for the ALR-56C, ALR-56DU and ALR-56M Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) systems. These RWR systems are employed on the F-15, F-16 and C-130 aircraft. The requirements for these services include:

  • Investigation and correction of ALR-56C/DU/M TPS software anomolies
  • Investigation and correction of ALR-56C/DU/M hardware anomolies
  • Investigation and correction of test verticality anomolies between maintenance levels
  • Conduct configuration/version management of software

These engineering services are intended to be designed and implemented at Robins AFB, GA. Some work may be accomplished at the contractor's location on a required basis. See the attached RFI summary document.

Background
The Electronic Warfare (EW) Supply Chain Management Squadron, part of the Air Force Sustainment Center at Robins AFB, GA, is conducting market research to identify potential sources for engineering support services related to the ALR-56 program. The goal is to investigate and resolve Deficiency Reports (DRs) for the ALR-56C, ALR-56DU, and ALR-56M Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) systems used on F-15, F-16, and C-130 aircraft. The contractor will need to demonstrate expertise and capabilities in this area.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform the following tasks:
1. Investigate and correct software anomalies in ALR-56C/DU/M TPS.
2. Investigate and correct hardware anomalies in ALR-56C/DU/M systems.
3. Investigate and correct test verticality anomalies between maintenance levels.
4. Conduct configuration/version management of software.
5. Conduct thorough investigations of Deficiency Reports (DRs) related to the AMP-66A, including:
- Submitting a Report of Findings (ROF) identifying potential fixes/solutions.
- Implementing agreed-upon fixes and performing testing to validate these fixes.
- Packaging fixes for distribution.
6. Provide monthly status updates on work accomplished, telephone support as needed, maintain a satisfactory Contractor Safety Program, and ensure timely Mishap Notification and Reporting when required.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance will be Robins AFB, GA, with some work potentially being conducted at the contractor's facility as required.
