Request for Expressions of Interest And Request for Public Engagement The Declaration House at Independence National Historical Park Philadelphia, PA

Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking responses from individuals, educational institutions, government and quasi-governmental agencies or entities, and non-profit or for-profit organizations interested in re-use of the building and land located on the corner of Market and 7th Streets in Philadelphia, within Independence National Historical Park. The NPS reserves the right to withdraw or discontinue the RFEI in whole or in part, use the ideas and/or proposals submitted in response to the RFEI in any manner deemed to be in its best interests, and change any components, concepts or approaches of the RFEI. All costs associated with responding to the RFEI are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the NPS.

Work Details
The building and site are available for adaptive re-use compatible with the Park’s mission and values. The NPS is seeking both short- and long-term options with a maximum allowable term of sixty (60) years. Applicants are required to state how much they are willing to pay the NPS for this opportunity. Detailed submission guidelines include a transmittal letter, description of re-use concept within the GMP framework, other relevant information, financial structure, business strategy, management considerations, and submission process.

The contract will be performed at the building and land located on the corner of Market and 7th Streets in Philadelphia within Independence National Historical Park.
