Background
The solicitation is for a Design-Bid-Build Construction Contract at Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado. The contract is unrestricted and open to both large and small businesses. The estimated construction cost of the project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the construction of a resilient non-potable water well to replace the existing non-operational well as a source of backup water to support the PL-1 mission area. Project tasks include:
- Abandoning the existing non-potable water well
- Removing the existing underground storage tank
- Demolishing the existing pump house
- Constructing a new well into the Lower Arapahoe Aquifer at a new site
- Constructing a new 1,000 gross square foot pre-engineered pump house at the site of the new well
- Constructing a tie between the well and the cooling tower sump with associated piping and controls for automated switch over between the two water sources
- Demolishing the existing well production water meter and replacing it with a new one.
The construction is 100% design-bid-build.

The construction projects will be performed at Buckley Air Force Base in Colorado.
