Replacement of 36 HWK03K Hydronic Coil Kits on PTAC Units on the Quarters Barge Taggatz.

Background
The contract is issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, aimed at replacing hydronic coil kits on Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner (PTAC) units aboard the Quarters Barge Taggatz. The goal is to ensure efficient heating operations in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, testing, permits, and supervision necessary to remove existing HWK03K hydronic coil kits from PTAC units and install thirty-six new HWK03K kits or approved equivalents. The specific PTAC units involved are:

- 18 AMANA PTC093B00FE units
- 11 AMANA PTC073B00FE units
- 7 AMANA PTC153B00FE units.

Work includes plumbing, electrical connections, calibration, testing, and commissioning for proper operation in hydronic heating mode. The Contractor must coordinate access to various locations within the Quarters Barge Taggatz and maintain flexibility to minimize disruption to personnel. All work must comply with Amana installation procedures and applicable USACE standards. The Contractor is responsible for verifying parts accuracy before work begins and must dispose of all removed coils in compliance with environmental regulations. Deliverables include a Safety Plan and Lockout/Tagout Procedure prior to mobilization, a Test and Commissioning Report upon completion of work, and warranty documentation before final payment.

Period of Performance
All work shall be completed no later than September 1, 2026.
