The purpose of this synopsis modification is to add the questions and answers from the site visit on 06/14/2021 listed below in Section A of the solicitation.

1). What are the requirements for over-excavation and compaction?

Provide over excavation as necessary for the new 6 thick concrete pad and 6 x12 footings. Soils shall be placed in lifts 6 thick, compacted to minimum 95% maximum dry density per ASTM D1557. Minimum of 1' of compacted soil required.

2). Disconnect point?

Reference solicitation drawings attachment M-1 in Section J

To disclose the magnitude of the construction requirements estimated price range per FAR 36.204 scale between $100,000-$250,000 in Section B of the solicitation.

Attach wage determination in Section J of the solicitation.

The Request for quote closing date remains unchanged closing on June 29,2021 3PM PST.

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on a full and open competition basis a: Replacement air chiller, site prep and installation services. Complete details will be listed in solicitation and attachments.

*Site visit will be held on June 14, 2021 at 0900 AM PST. Naval Air Weapons Station, China Lake, California.

*Site visit requests must be submitted to both purchasing agent and COR by email by May 17 2021 3PM PST.

Badging documentation should be turned into the COR no later than 5/27/2021 to allow adequate time to obtain badges for site visit on 6/14/2021.

*Solicitation will close on June 29, 2021 3PM PST

*If no site visits are requested, the RFQ will be amended and the closing date will be shortened to May 27, 2021. 3PM PST.

All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Respond to Andrea McGuire at Andrea.m.mcguire1@navy.mil via email. The solicitation or Request for Quote (RFQ) for N6893621Q0154 will be posted on the Contract Opportunities hosted on beta.SAM.gov website at https://fbohome.sam.gov/ on or about 05/07/2021.

Going forward, all new entities registering in GSA's System for Award Management (SAM), as well as existing registrations being updated or renewed, will require the submission of an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator for the entity associated with the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number before the registration will be activated. It is recommended that all interested parties be aware that processing this additional information may take several days and are proactive in maintaining the SAM registrations in an 'Active' status as the government cannot award to an entity without an 'Active' SAM registration.
