Replace Window Blinds - Nenahnezad

Background
The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE), under the Department of the Interior (DOI), is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of window blinds at the Nenahnezad Community School. The goal of this contract is to enhance the learning environment by providing new window coverings that ensure optimal fit, functionality, and aesthetics while adhering to safety and environmental standards. This project is set aside for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) contractors.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision, and incidentals necessary for the removal of existing window coverings and installation of new window blinds in Buildings #401, 454, 453, 469, and 456 at Nenahnezad School. Key tasks include:

- Measuring windows for precise fit;
- Procuring appropriate blinds;
- Professional installation ensuring secure mounting and alignment;
- Testing for smooth operation; and
- Responsible disposal of old blinds in compliance with local regulations.

The contractor must ensure all work meets manufacturer guidelines and client approval upon completion.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is to be determined but includes a delivery date for materials by September 30, 2026.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be certified as an Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE). Additionally, bidders are required to provide bid/payment/performance bonds as well as necessary contractor licensing to perform the work outlined in this solicitation.
