Background
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is issuing this solicitation for the purchase of eleven (11) commercial grade, fully condensing tankless water heaters for the Federal Correctional Institution in Sheridan, Oregon.
The goal of this contract is to replace existing water heating units to ensure efficient and reliable hot water supply within the facility.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide eleven (11) fully assembled, factory-sealed units of the Intellihot Model iQ251 Gen II or an equivalent product.
The specifications include:
1. Thermal Efficiency: Minimum 96%
2. Input Range: 30,000 – 251,000 BTU/hr
3. Maximum Output: 240,960 BTU/hr
4. Hot Water Capacity (77°F Rise): Minimum 6.3 GPM per unit
5. Cascading Capability: Masterless configuration allowing up to 10 units to operate together
6. Construction Requirements: Must include a heat exchanger made of 316L stainless steel and be compliant with ANSI Z21.10.3 / CSA 4.3 and ASME HLW standards.
7. Federal Security Requirements: All wireless communication capabilities must be managed to ensure offline operation, with no communication with external servers.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by August 21, 2026.
